Nights Away Permit Assessment Opportunities

If there is anyone in your District that is looking for a Nights Away Permit assessment then there are further opportunities to be assessed over the weekend of

10-12 October 2014 at Lyons Copse Scout Centre and

3-6 April 2015 at Ferny Crofts.

The assessment is open to anyone who hasn’t already started the assessment process with another Nights Away Adviser. It’s also a chance for new Nights Away Advisers to shadow an experienced NAA in conducting assessments.

CampingThose adults interested will still have to organise their own group’s logistics, equipment, programme, catering and book the accommodation/campsite. The County NAA team have only established that there is currently availability on the above dates.

A Nights Away Permit holder will be attending the camp so those requiring assessment don’t need to organise a permit holder to attend.

For those that are interested, please book directly with the centre the accommodation or campsite and then visit and book an assessment. Contact details for the campsites are as follows:-

Lyons Copse – Mrs M Freemantle – – 0845 053 3499

Ferny Crofts – – 023 8084 5092

If you have any questions regarding the assessment then please contact Mark Dolton, County Nights Away Adviser on 07725 723896 or email Mark Dolton
