Hampshire Pride 2018

Proud to be supporting Hampshire Pride Promoting inclusivity, solidarity and community

The Big Day takes place this Saturday, 24 February, and as part of the festivities the County Council will be hosting the Hampshire Pride Market Place, an indoor street festival, in Queen Elizabeth II Court, Winchester. Everyone is welcome!”

Hampshire Scouts have a free stall in the market place and we would welcome support from fellow volunteers and Explorer Scouts and Scout Network. Contact vanessa.slawson@hampshirescouts.org.uk. You may also like to take part in the rest of the day.

 

Schedule for the day:

1pm – Assemble at the Winchester School of Art, in Park Avenue, Winchester

2pm – Parade/ foot procession around Winchester

3pm – Street Festival and marketplace at Hampshire County Council’s Queen Elizabeth II Court , with speeches, Cabaret style entertainment, stalls and food available

7.30pm until late – Party at the University of Winchester Student Union, Sparkford Road, Winchester for 18s and over. The theme this year is Wizard of Oz.
