Adult Volunteering (18+)

If you would like more information about volunteering at a local scout group please fill in the Adult Volunteering form. We are happy to discuss the options available. Most of our volunteers do so on a flexible basis.

There are over 1,600 young people on the waiting list in Hampshire and over 40,000 across the UK. This is because there are not enough adult volunteers to accommodate the current demand of young people wanting to join. The Scout Association is the largest co-educational youth movement in the country. Recent figures have shown that membership has reached the 550,000 mark in the UK. Scouting makes a real difference to young people up and down the country. Membership to the movement is an opportunity that The Scout Association wants to extend to as many people as possible.

Kind regards
Vanessa Slawson
