Elected Youth Reps

Role description for Hampshire Scouts Elected Youth Reps is attached

RD – Elected Youth Representative v2015

The County Youth Council (HCYC) hold elections for these annually at the March conference.

The role begins in June each year when the people we choose are officially voted in at the County AGM. Previous Elected Youth Reps have included: Tom Fisher, Ollie Murray, Emma Hale, James Snape, Felix De Wattipont.

There is a slight change from previous years in that we are now able to take one person under the age of 18, which opens up the opportunity to many more of you who might be interested.

There are 2 EYR vacancies to fill, and one of which must be someone aged 18-25. Have a look through the role description and if you think it might be for you or someone you know please be prepared to give a short speech (1-2 mins) to the HCYC group about why you would be good for the role.

If you would like to stand but cannot make it then you can prepare something to be read out at the event or alternatively you can record a short video and send me the clip and we can play that. It is a very exciting opportunity and has been well contested in previous years.
