Module 38

Skills for Residential Experiences

10th & 11th October 2020

Following the guidance from the Scout Association regarding COVID-19, we have taken the decision to cancel our April weekend.
We are however still taking bookings for the October weekend in the hope the situation will improve and we will be able to run the module 38 weekend later this year.

During the weekend you will learn about, using and storing camping equipment, choosing a site, planning, paperwork, catering, as well as programme ideas, and gain the skills and knowledge to take your section away camping.

These weekends, to be held at Ferny Crofts, are an ideal opportunity to learn from experienced trainers/scouters and from other course delegates attending.

This is an additional ‘skills’ module which expands on Module 16 (Introduction to Residential Experiences).

This weekend is also very useful to those seeking to become a Nights Away Adviser.

The maximum number of course delegates for each weekend will be 24.

To book your place please use the Adult Training application form.
