Insurance


Scout membership provides insurance for Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Explorers, Network Members, Leaders, Assistant Leaders and Commissioners. 



Hampshire Scouts pays an additional premium to cover children of leaders who attend Scouting activities for public liability (for if the child does something resulting in harm or damage) or accident and medical cover.

Trustee Indemnity Insurance is included for Executive members. Personal Accident insurance for Occasional Helpers are not included but it is an option to pay for them with additional cover.

Scout buildings and content insurance must be arranged by Groups.  The Scout membership cover is provided by Unity.
