2017 Expedition to The Gambia – Hampshire Explorer Scouts – December 2017-January 2018 Two weeks

 

New Forest North District is running its winter expedition to The Gambia, staying at Kaira Konko in the village of Soma. Whilst there, working on local community projects.

 

After an interesting couple of weeks, and in the end, a peaceful change of President, The Gambia is now starting to get back to normal.

The Gambia economy heavily relies on tourism, and one of the best ways to help the country is to visit.
